Once upon a pandemic, I co-wrote a book with my dear friend Angie Bailey.
As we sat six feet apart, masked and shivering on my cold porch, our Gen-X memories of the beloved Little House on the Prairie television show inspired a kitschy yet helpful book for the Modern Pioneer.

Since 2024, I’ve been penning The Horror! Terrifying Trivia for Fright Fanatics desk calendars for my fellow horror lovers!
Each day, you can test your knowledge of your favorite scary films, books, video games, villains, and history. It’s great fun, and now you can say you know someone who actually writes these things!
TRUTH MERCURIAL includes oppressive religious overtones with restricted access to reading/outside knowledge, much like Margaret Atwood’s THE HANDMAID’S TALE. Yet, it has a medieval aesthetic along with a clash of religion and reason reminiscent of THE NAME OF THE ROSE, by Umberto Eco.
It immerses the reader in alchemy led by a group of magicians tasked with balancing the world, as in THE ALCHEMIST’S COUNCIL, by Cynthea Masson, while adding a sci-fi element with the presence of a mysterious portal.
It is a book that can skim across genres and will appeal to readers on an endless quest for truth and the discovery of where it lies.

My fascination with the fantastical, ancient magic, and the elusive Truth compelled me to write this fantasy novel manuscript outlined by the four major stages of philosophical alchemy.
A group of secret elemental magicians is tasked with quietly restoring balance in their world. However, with whispers of a deadly plan and a dangerous betrayal, they may be forced to intervene.
This manuscript is currently out in queryland for representation and publication.
